The goal is to utilise surface level observations as a legitimate means of drawing out the ultimate potential of a subject matter. Participants will be invited to join in an image-led conversation, translating visual cues into a proliferation of researched material. From this branching process of printing, drawing and selecting images, the emergence of multiple interpretations of the initial subject are chosen over one distinct conclusion.
The theme of the discourse will shift with each meeting of the forum, providing new terrain from which to gather and share ideas. Tender Xchange aims to navigate and construct these visual research spaces independent of the constraints of institutional academia, in an inclusive and attentive environment.
